Turner Bros. has established its reputation by consistently providing a complete managed solution. We call it the Turner Process. It involves extensive consultation and review focused on preparation and planning. Completely understanding our customer’s needs and the detailed requirements enables Turner Bros. to execute services safely, on-schedule and on-budget, using the company’s combined depth of customer knowledge and expertise.
Here’s how the Turner Process works.
CONSULTATION AND REVIEW
Determining specific customer needs is the critical first step in the Turner Process. We work with our customers to completely understand the scope of work to be done and identify customer specific logistical and technical needs. A comprehensive on-site physical survey and risk assessment review help complete the picture. These preliminary consultations enable us to completely understand our customer’s requirements and plan the solution.
PLANNING AND ENGINEERING
Our reputation for execution is based on preparing a solid plan. We take information from the site survey and perform risk assessments including loading and off-loading and detail worksite conditions. We use this information to prepare a CAD simulation of the lift or transport. We map the plot and elevation. Steps are taken to identify specific equipment needs and a mechanism for delivery of that equipment.
Every step of the lift or transport is mapped. This includes load requirements, stress testing, route/site conditions, and the site layout for rigging implementation. Engineering design and fabrication of customized equipment is completed and manpower requirements are finalized. We work with the customer to design and finalize their individualized lift or transport plan and the comprehensive safety plan.
EXECUTION AND EVALUATION
When it comes time to begin work, all lift or transport plans, route maps, customized equipment and safety plans are in place. Coordination of the equipment and work teams are achieved through on-site project and safety management.
Once the work is completed, we assess performance with our customer to determine ways we can improve processes, determine future best practices, and discuss future project needs.
