Wind Farm Project Manager
Position Overview:
Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Ensures all project personnel and field management perform work in a safe manner and models safe work practices.
- Reviews project proposal, plan or contract to determine schedule of completion, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, equipment/staffing requirements, risk of job and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
- Establishes work plan and staffing for watch phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
- Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, equipment, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
- Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progress on schedule and within prescribed budget. Identifies issues that challenge schedules and works with project team to develop solutions to overcome potential problem areas.
- Documents changes that affect the job scope, schedule or budget agreement to ensure Change Order Requests can be submitted accurately and timely.
- Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
- Authorizes or approves all project personnel transactions, purchase requisitions, field design changes requests, etc.
- Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four year college or university; or seven to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of Project Management software preferred; Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.

Job Descriptions
Wind Farm Cost Estimator - Longview or Houston, Texas
Position Overview:
Analyzes contracts, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for wind projects.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Prepares a cost summary for an entire project, including the costs of labor, equipment, materials, subcontracts, overhead, taxes, insurance, markup, and any other costs that may affect the project.
- Interfaces with other individuals in the organization to obtain support and commitment to the cost estimates. Assists in the enforcement of standard budget controls uniformity throughout all projects.
- Organizes and manages a centralized cost estimating database and a formal process to support cost estimating to ensure historical data is utilized for future projects.
- Analyzes completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs and determine the reason for any discrepancies.
- Provides improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures to reduce future discrepancies between estimated and actual costs.
- Identifies cost trends to assist management in cost reduction and process improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four year college or university; or seven to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of three years experience in a cost estimating role.
- Knowledge of Great Plains Accounting software; Project Management software; Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.

Position Overview:
Responsible for selling Turner Bros., LLC services to customers in an assigned target market or region.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Achieve sales revenue goals as outlined by the Sales Manager.
- Work with Sales and Terminal Managers to develop a sales plan for the assigned customer base.
- Identify, qualify, develop and penetrate new clients with the intent of establishing prime accounts in the assigned market.
- Develop relationship, respond to and anticipate customer needs and address technical, operational and financial needs and requirements.
- Establish account strategies and maintain the relationship for that client.
- Recommends solutions that match customer's technical, financial and business challenges.
- Develop strong customer relationships at key customer accounts.
- Retain and grow existing client base.
- Develop annual sales forecast and updating it quarterly.
- Qualifies and assesses potential customers.
- Prepares proposals, bids, lift plans and schedules initiation of services.
- Deliver technical presentations to prospective and existing clients
- Document sales activity per Sales manager requirements.

Job Descriptions
Crane Operator:
Position Overview: Safely operate a traveling or stationary overhead crane (cab or ground controlled) to lift, move, and position loads such as machinery, equipment, components, and solid or bulk materials.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Maneuvers, places, and operates all-terrain, mobile, and/or crawler cranes
- Utilize / work with rigging employees to execute safe and efficient movement and placement of crane outrigger pads/mats
- Oversee and approve the preparation, placement, and rigging used to safely perform designated lifts
Works with the rigging employees to:
- Select the appropriate rigging equipment and hardware
- Identify/utilize appropriate lift points and devices
- Connect tag/guide lines for lift safety
- Dismantle equipment when lifts are complete
- Inspect and maintain crane and rigging equipment
- Store lifting equipment in designated locations
- Establish and integrate lifting plans for complicated lifts
- Work with other crane operators to integrate lift strategy, movements, and controls
- Coordinate and communicate with dispatch
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience
- NCCCO Certification (preferred)
- Valid CDL (preferred)
- Pass a physical and drug screen

Position Overview: Safely coordinates and assembles rigging to lift and move equipment or material in manufacturing plants, shipyards, construction sites or wind farms.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provides physical labor/support for crane movement, placement, and operation.
- Work with crane teams to establish and integrate designated load and lift plans.
- Supports the preparation, placement, and rigging used to perform designated lifts.

- NCCR Rigger Certification preferred.

Truck Drivers:
Position Overview: Responsible for safely driving diesel-powered tractor-trailer combination to pick-up, transport and deliver specialized freight or materials.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Operate diesel-powered tractor-trailer combination.
- Perform pre-trip and safety inspections.
- Supervise and secure load according to DOT regulations to prevent damage during transport.
- Coordinate and communicate with dispatch.
- Deliver specialized freight or materials to customer's premises and collect payment or obtain receipt for goods.
- Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.
- Maintain equipment according to FMSCA guidelines.
- Follow all DOT record keeping regulations and maintain accurate daily logs.
- Comply with all regulatory and company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Three years experience.
- Valid CDL.
- Clear MVR.
- Pass a physical and DOT drug screen.
